Booking terms

These terms apply to every booking of a room at Tahiti Lodge, 13 Servitude Pugibet, Punaauia, made on this website, by phone, WhatsApp or email. Bookings made on Airbnb or Booking.com are governed by those platforms’ terms.

A booking is confirmed once the required payment is received, or immediately when the stay is paid on site; a booking request is confirmed once approved by our team. A confirmation email summarises the stay, the price and these terms. The person making the booking must be aged 18 or over.

Prices are shown in Pacific francs (XPF), all taxes included. Conversions into euros or dollars are for guidance only. The tourist tax (200 XPF par personne et par nuit) is added to the price and paid to the local council.

Le séjour est réglé sur place, à l’arrivée (espèces en XPF). Un séjour réglé sur place est dû en totalité à l’arrivée, à la remise des clés ; la réservation est confirmée immédiatement, sans paiement préalable.

Online payments are secured by our payment provider: the Lodge never has access to your card numbers.

Annulation gratuite jusqu’à 14 jours avant l’arrivée, 50 % remboursés jusqu’à 7 jours avant, ensuite non remboursable (hors taxe de séjour). En réglant sur place, aucun frais d’annulation : rien n’est dû avant votre arrivée et la remise des clés. Vous pouvez annuler vous-même depuis l’espace « Mon séjour ». Pour un séjour réglé sur place, aucune somme n’est due en cas d’annulation avant l’arrivée, jusqu’à la remise des clés ; une fois les clés remises, le séjour est dû en entier, même écourté.

Refunds are made to the original payment method. A missed arrival or a shortened stay is not refundable.

In accordance with the regulations, booking accommodation for a specific date carries no right of withdrawal: only the cancellation terms above apply.

To change your dates or room, please contact us: we will do our best, subject to availability. Should we have to cancel (cyclone, water damage…), we would offer you another room or other dates; failing that, all amounts paid would be refunded in full.

Check-in from 14:00, at any time, and check-out before 11:00. Depending on the time, a member of our team welcomes guests, who show them the verification code given in the “My stay” area and in the confirmation email; otherwise, the keys will be waiting on site, following the instructions in the “My stay” area.

• The number of guests may not exceed the capacity of the room booked.
• The house rules apply to everyone: quiet after 22:00, no smoking indoors.
• Any damage caused during the stay may be charged.

If anything is wrong, let us know during your stay and we will find a solution. These terms are governed by the law applicable in French Polynesia; failing an amicable agreement, the courts of Papeete have jurisdiction.
